I received the following email from Bev a friend of Kim and Jan and thought it was so sweet that everyone should get to read it.
"
Please tell them all that they have alot of support, prayers and love from us all.
Can you tell Kim I said that all the many prayers and good thoughts for Jan and his family are being heard, and alot of love is being sent, to help him to quickly heal.
Can you also tell Kim, I was driving to a ball game on Tues night, a young girl came on sun FM, to dedicate a song to Ms. Kascak, as she was crying at school and they did not know why. Of course at that time I did not know either. I thought it was very sweet of her students to do that for her.
Love and Prayers to you all."
Sweet Dreams!

Hello all
We were so glad, relieved to hear that Jan is doing much better. Amanda sounded so positive on the phone Sunday night, we know every thing will be alright now. Thinking of you all.
Tammie and family
Kazz,
While we were shocked and horrified to hear about the accident we knew, and continue to believe, that you will heal fully and completely, there is just no other way to see it! You and Kim babysat me and Quinny sometimes when we were kids and you and my Dad coached me through the best years of my hockey life, years I would never trade for anything in the world. You and Dougie looked pretty suave (especially you and your Mike Keenan haircut) in your slacks and ties and you taught me and all those you coached the value of hard work, fair play and teamwork (and fear of failure...just kidding). My Dad's reaction to the news was one of horror and when he relayed the news to my sister, my mom, and myself we all felt anger as well as disbelief. Our family has been talking/thinking about you, Kim, Ashley, and Amanda every day since the accident and to be honest with you Kazz you have touched our lives with a multitude of moments that, when looked back upon, bring smiles and laughter to our hearts. From the relationship I have been fortunate to have with you over the years and from what I've read in this blog you have all the things that most people merely pray for - a loving wife, beautiful kids and a fantastic family and friends. We will think of you every day with nothing but the power of positive thinking in our hearts and minds Coach. Stay positive and know that our family loves you and yours very much. Get better so we can see and talk to you soon you old Billiken stickman you!
Love,
Doug, Deb, Derek, and Quinny
