We're happy to be home

Greetings everyone!

It has been great to be home and in our own beds. Jan is making incredible progress and is getting stronger every day.We actually have to force him to rest because he is so eager to get going. He has expressed that he needs to go out and get a new bike so that he can get back riding daily. Jan gets the wires in his mouth removed June 5th and we start physiotherapy next week. He has no pain (which is a miracle in itself).

We are slowly getting our lives back in order. I am going back to work next Mon. and Ashley is going to stay with us for the month of June to look after her dad. (She was going to move to Calgary and find a job to make some spending money for when she returns to school in Sept. to pursue her journalism degree.)

Amanda and Neil have been able to reschedule their wedding to June 28th. Jan has something positive to work towards.

We feel truly blessed to have so many family and friends that have been praying for us and we thank you again with deep gratitude.
